Fairy tales 6ème2

This term 6ème 2 rewrote classic fairy tales and gave them a truly modern twist. On Friday 3rd February, they were proud to perform their plays for their friends in Collège Ravel. A fun morning and a super breakfast was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Mrs Gaynor and her 6ème International class in Collège Ravel.

 Salon du livre pour la jeunesse de Montreuil

Le 2 décembre 2016, les 3e2 sont allés au Salon du livre pour la jeunesse de Montreuil accompagnés de Mme Simeray et de Mme Crétois-Legrand.

Voici le livret réalisé à partir des interviews qu'ils ont réalisées parmi les participants au salon.

Ils ont également participé à la première joute de traduction jeunesse au salon du livre de Montreuil le 2 décembre 2016.

"History Bee and Bowl of Paris"

Une équipe d'élèves de 3ème 6 a gagné le concours d'histoire par équipe du "History Bee and Bowl of Paris".
L'équipe composée des 1ère ES2 et 1ère S2 est elle arrivée deuxième de sa catégorie ce dimanche 20 mars.
Bravo à tous les participants qui se sont déplacés un dimanche pour représenter leur collège-lycée !

A visit from Leigh Hobbs

The section was honored to receive Leigh Hobbs, aclaimed children's author, to celebrate the release of his latest book Mr Chicken lands on London.

Valentine's Day / Friendship Day

For Valentine's Day, 14 February, we had to prepare little notes for our classmates, wishing them a happy valenti   ne's day. Some people made little messages with pictures on the computer and others did them by hand. Some people were serious in their notes, others were not. We had to make a hole in a shoebox, put our name on it and bring it to school. Then in English, we put all of the shoe boxes on the right-side of the class. Everyone put their notes in each others' shoe boxes. At the end of class, we each took our shoebox and read all of the notes we got. It was the second time we did it because we did it last year.

It was really cool!!!
