- Potato sandwiches with a side salad
Super easy to make and perfect to finish leftovers.
Ingredients :
- 750g potatoes
- 50g of breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 100g of sliced leftover cheese from the fridge
- 100g of sliced turkey, or ham, (or leftover meat from the fridge) or mushrooms (for the vegetarian option)
- Rosemary and thyme
- Olive oil or regular cooking oil
- Salt and pepper
Instructions :
- Boil the potatoes for 15- 20 minutes and let them cool.
- Peel the potatoes and in a large bowl, mash them with a fork.
- Add some salt, some pepper, some rosemary and thym, the breadcrumps and 1 egg. - Mix the ingredients.
- Form squares with the mixture
- Fill them with the meat or the mushrooms ( chopped and cooked ).
- Put another square on top and close the sandwich using your fingers.
- Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan and cook the squares for 5 minutes on each side.
- Serve warm with a side salad ( for example : some green salad, 2 grated carrots, a minced shallot, some sliced raddish, oil and venigar)

- Smarties cookies
Ingredients for 20 cookies
-70g of soft butter
- 1 egg
- 120g of sugar
- 200g of flour
- 1/2 a packet of yeast
- 100g of Smarties ©
Instructions :
- Preheat the oven to 180°.
- In a salad bowl, mix the soft butter and the sugar with a fork. Add the egg and mix.
- Pour the flour and the yeast. Mix everything.
- Crush half (= 1/2) the Smarties and add them to the dough.
- Make balls with the palms of your hands, gently press them and put them on the baking tray covered with baking paper.
- Bake them for 10 minutes maximum.
- Put the rest of the Smarties on the cookies and gently push them in.
