Le projet d’établissement du Collège Jacques Prévert se décline selon trois axes principaux :

• Travail
• Accueil et bien être
• Ouverture culturelle

Le travail constitue une donnée importante tant pour les familles que pour les équipes : conseils de mi-trimestre, accueil personnalisé des familles, entretiens individuels pour les élèves de 3^ème, devoirs sur table trimestriels, examens blancs, dispositif « devoirs faits » qui a pris de l’ampleur ces deux dernières années, contrôles communs, cours optionnels de littérature et d’anglais… Les résultats d’affectation en lycée témoignent de la qualité pédagogique en hausse. 

L’accompagnement des élèves en difficulté, ou en situation de handicap, ou présentant des difficultés de santé a été structuré. Il est pragmatique et efficace, grâce à la forte implication de la plupart des professeurs principaux et du service médico-social.

Le bien-être des élèves et des personnels constitue un levier de réussite important. De nombreux travaux de rénovation, soutenus par la Mairie du 6^ème et la Ville de Paris, ont eu lieu ces dernières années : création d’une salle d’étude, création d’un foyer, achat de mobilier « design » pour les élèves. Par ailleurs, nous avons fait créer une nouvelle salle de réunion hybride afin d'adapter nos pratiques à la nouvelle organisation du travail. Enfin, la véranda couvrant une partie de l'entrée du collège a été entièrement rénovée.

L’ouverture culturelle se décline en voyages, sorties au théâtre, expositions, échanges avec des établissements étrangers (Danemark, Australie, Allemagne), participation au dispositif « collège au cinéma », implication des élèves dans la vie citoyenne … 

Plusieurs projets artistiques ont vu le jour : une fresque réalisée par les élèves sous la houlette de Diane Benoît du Rey, ayant pour thème « la liberté », financé grâce aux « budgets participatifs des Collèges » de la Ville de Paris, les « Pachadamy », photos inscrites dans le mouvement de la nouvelle exploration urbaine.

Le Comité d’Education à la Santé et à la Citoyenneté est très actif, et nous engageons de nombreuses actions de prévention en faveur des élèves. La priorité de l’établissement va tout particulièrement vers la sensibilisation aux dangers du numérique.

The educational goals of Jacques Prevert secondary school include three focuses:

 Work has always been an important focus for families but also for our teams.

Mid-term class councils, “one on one“ meetings with families and students, quarterly common written exams, mock exams, advanced English and literature classes, as well as the “Devoirs faits” (tutoring) programme, all provide the perfect conditions to lead our students to success.

Furthermore, we have a well-structured and efficient system when it comes to children with special needs (health issues and / or disabilities). This is made possible thanks to the commitment of our main teachers and medical team.

We also believe the Well-Being of our students and teams will lead them to success. Our premises have undergone many renovations over the past few years, including a new study room and furniture for students. Given the new challenges met over the past 2 years, we have also created a brand-new hybrid meeting room. Finally, the porch at the entrance of the school was fully renovated in 2020.

According to us, Arts and Culture are very important for a successful education. This is why our school has organized many trips over the past few years to the following countries: Italy, Germany and Greece. In addition, our teachers organize school visits in museums on a regular basis (our school is located in the historical center of Paris) and our students regularly attend theaters plays and watch classic movies thanks to the “Collège au cinema” organization.  

Furthermore, our students have created their own mural with the help of French artist Diane Benoît du Rey, which was financed by the association of Paris secondary schools. We were also granted a Pachadamy exhibition, whose goal was to raise awareness regarding environmental issues.  

Finally, our teams are working together with The Health and Citizenship Education Committee which involves all members of the educational community and the local partners of the primary or secondary school (local government, police, justice and associations). Chaired by the school head, the committee is active in citizenship education, drawing up the plan for the prevention of violence, proposing initiatives to support parents in difficult situations and combating social exclusion, defining a health and sex education programme aimed at promoting safe behaviour. The CESC brings together a variety of measures, with the aim of preparing pupils to act and to live together, with respect for equality between women and men and to make choices and exercise their citizenship rights.
