Matilda the Musical!

In February, Beauville Arts returned to Camille Sée for a two-day theatre workshop with 6e2 and 5e2 based on Matilda the Musical! We learnt the choreography and the lyrics to multiple songs from Matilda the Musical, such as Naughty, School Song, Revolting Children and When I Grow Up. There were lots of opportunities to get parts in scenes or solos in songs. 

It took a lot of work and determination to make a show out of it in only two days, but it was worth it. We had a variety of costumes and props to make it as professional as possible! 

On the second evening, parents, siblings, and teachers came to watch the show. It was amazing, and all the audience and actors loved it! Everyone had so much fun, and we all learnt a lot of new skills such as projecting our voice, and staying organised throughout the whole show, preparation included. 

We are all so grateful to have been able to participate in this wonderful workshop, and would like to give a big thanks to Jonathan, Alex, Claire, Alice and Mrs Popa-Jones!
